Town Hall Meeting – Safety Concerns

Town Hall Meeting held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the New Ark United Church of Christ located on Main Street.

The purpose of this meeting was for residents to voice any concerns they may have and allow for Q&As to follow. Invited guest speakers included: NPD Corporal Faulk, Corporal Mease, Sargeant Conover and NHA’s attorney Don Gouge. On behalf of our Chairperson, Nikki Lane, Board of Commissioners, and the Newark Housing Authority Staff, we thank our guest speakers for their dedicated service in keeping our community safe and support of affordable housing.  We also thank the New Ark United Church of Christ for the use of their sanctuary for this event as construction plans will commence for the George Read Village redevelopment.
