Request for Qualifications (RFQ) For Co-Developer for George Read Village

The Newark Housing Authority (“NHA” or the “Authority”) is seeking Statements of Qualifications from experienced development teams (“Respondents”) for a mixed-use redevelopment plan that includes a new NHA administration building, retail/commercial space, community space and between 56-68 dwelling units. Additional information on the desired scope of the redevelopment is set forth at Appendix A of this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) (the “Redevelopment”). The NHA selection process under this RFQ will result in NHA’s selection of a co-developer partner (“Developer Partner”). NHA shall serve as a co-developer together with its Developer Partner and shall play a significant role in the Redevelopment.
